We’re trying to have a last good day of everyone all together. I woke the puppies up at daylight (I’d rather wake them than miss their need to go out ot potty. With them in 4 different places, it takes a few minutes.)
The vet came this morning to do our health certificates for travel. It went well except for me having no clue what day it is. I kept saying things had happened in July (May is what I meant). When we were finished, she brought her Sheltie in to meet them. It’s always nice for puppies to get to see other breeds.
Aunt LeAnne came and took the 9 week old pictures. Deja’s pictures use his official new color for the collar ;-) She came back a little while later with her daughter (another new person) and visited the puppies. They also got a video for me of all 9 of them zooming back into the pen at the beep of the Treat n Train since they won’t all 9 be together after tonight.
And that’s all I got written Friday because people started coming to get their puppies ;-(. Blueberry Muffin is now Ptolemy and had a good trip home. Thankfully, his new people have been keeping me informed but I still miss him.
As he was leaving, Fauxstess’ new family arrived so all of the puppies met 5 new people yesterday. 8 of them have seen Fauxstess’ (now Zoey’s) new housemate, a black lab. The old girls are not so welcoming ;-)
We’ve had a busy day going in and out and demonstrating their velociraptor impressions. We had a several instances of rain and some decent wind but not a real storm. This afternoon, when they napped, several of the humans napped too. Some of us really needed it ;-)
Tomorrow is going to be a day heavy on the fudgesicles since Fauxstess Zoe(y) and Pink SweetTart (Stella ) are going to their new homes. Zoey will live near her Uncle James and Cousin Quinn in Texas and Stella will live somewhat local. She’ll come back to stay with me for a while in July so that will help. Feeding tomorrow will be challenging because I still keep making enough for 9 and I’ll be down to 6 by lunchtime. This is my least favorite part.
I’m going to go cuddle with the remaining 8 and get a few extra cuddles from the 2 leaving tomorrow. Nighty Nighty nighty, puppy breath (they still have it) to all!
