The remaining puppies are doing well. They are very quiet in the night and I have been getting up around 6 but not from hearing them. They are staying quiet at least that long. I haven’t been waiting to see when they do start to fuss, I just get up anyway. That way we can go outside before it gets too miserably hot. It is easier to keep just 2 of them cool when we are out in the heat of the day but I still miss the others.
We are getting some much needed rain today and the puppies and I have enjoyed some of it. They are truly little PWDs and rain is just another form of water after all.
Now that the litter is almost ‘done,’ I have figured out all kinds of extra things to do with the blog. I have discovered how to allow other authors so they can guest blog (which is how we got the Carrera update earlier today) and alledgedly, I can schedule posts or email them in (this will be the test of a scheduled post but the test I emailed hasn’t shown up yet.) I think I even found where to have blogger tell me when something is posted (which will help me know if the scheduled post has gone through.)
Pink! and Cary are going with MiraBella and the rest of us to the NC water trial tomorrow. The old dogs, Jack and Jill, are staying home but the “old puppies’ SammieDoodlebug and Indy are entered. Carrera is going to meet us there with her new brother who is also entered. It is going to be hard to get along without Jack but he is still on severely restricted activity so he needs to stay home to stay calm enough.
The puppies are snoozing so I’d better go get some stuff done before last call. We’ll be busy busy busy in the am. Nighty, nighty, nighty to all.
